The Second Basket template designed to make a open style of Basket for that special occasion or gift. It is ideal to pop in a handful of chocolates or sweets or use on your dresser to hold potpourri or lavender. Anything inside the basket will be seen and so make sure you choose colours to tone in with your embellishment colours! Bordered by a pretty scalloped edging using the PCA® Fine Large ScallopEdge Tool. Complete the pattern on the template and then finish off with your own additional perforations, colourings, embellishments etc. Or just simply use the outline to create the base basket, and then completely re-design with your own patterns of perforations and embossing. A clear sharp embossing result is easily achieved with excellent depth using the PCA® Micro Ball Tool. Very quick and easy to use. Place vellum on top of template. Hold vellum in position with small pieces of ‘Blu-Tack’ or similar. Not necessary to use a light box unless using paper or card stock. Emboss the lines as desired, then turn template (with paper still attached) over, place in position on your perforating mat. Finish off by using the Large Fine ScallopEdge tool around the perimeter of template. After completing this stage, further embellish as desired or alternatively combine this template with any other PCA® Template.
This template also includes a second separate template for the handle along with complete detailed easy to follow folding and gluing instructions to the complete project. Follow the same steps as above to emboss and complete the basket handle.
